Quarterly meeting on Nov. 18th at NERRTC

The quarterly InfraGard meeting will be held on Thursday, November 18th, 2010 at the National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (NERRTC), on the campus of Texas A&M University from 9:00 until 2:00.

We will be having a number of informative sessions on a variety of tropics including: NIMS, WMD, and the training resources available, at this one of a kind training venue in the world.

The location is also the base for the Urban Search and Rescue Team - Texas Task Force 1

Our visit will include a tour of the Brayton Fire School and Disaster City and the Emergency Operations Training Center.

Directions:      The IAH Mgmt Conference room is located in Terminal A on the mezzanine level.  Come to the Ticketing Level (2nd floor) of Terminal A and look for the Stadium City Bar & Grill and Frontier Airlines located on the north side of the terminal.  There is a set of stairs between those two  business.  At the top of the stairs make two left turns and you will see the door to the conference room.

There is limited seating so we must have an RSVP.

Quarterly chapter meeting May 13th, 2010

The next InfraGard Houston quarterly meeting will be held on May13th, 2010 at the National Weather Service/Galveston County Office of Emergency Management.  The meeting will include the election officers, a briefing from the National Weather Service on the upcoming hurricane season, a discussion on critical infrastructure preparedness and a tour of the Galveston County Office of Emergency Management.  We will meet in the conference room at the GCOEM.  The slate of candidates will be  emailed to each member.  Directions to the NWS/GCOEM.

Quarterly meeting announcement (May 2010)

The next quarterly Houston InfraGard meeting will be held at the National Weather Service Office and Galveston County Office of Emergency Management on: Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

We will have a brief business meeting and hold election of officers at that time. The National Weather Service will be providing a briefing on the 2010 Hurricane season, and there will be a brief presentation and tour of the GCOEM.

Port of Houston Boat Tour

We have made reservations for a boat tour of the Houston Ship Channel on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 2:00.  We have availability for 35 members.  We must have your reservation at least 5 days before the event and you must register through the Events calendar on this site at: Reservations
