Apple Inc's iPad has been banned by Israel over fears that wireless signals could interfere with other devices, according to reports. Associated Press reported that customs officials have begun confiscating Cupertino-based Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) tablet computer. Some Israelis were able to get iPads into the country before the ban went into effect, AP reported. Confiscated iPads -- for example brought in by tourists -- will be held by customs. Daily storage fees will be levied and the devices may be returned when the owners leave Israel.
